RC-3 w/ Jump-Proof MOLLE Sheath SystemAfter noting improvements offered to us by soldiers and cops in the field, we took the popular Ontario/RAT RAT-3, added 3/8" of handle length, a glass-breaking pommel, larger handle screws, then differentially heat-treated the 1095 carbon steel and dressed up the Micarta slabs to build the RAT Cutlery RC-3. We then coupled this improved model with a sheath system (included with any RC-3 purchase) that can be carried in just about any configuration for the perfect, lightweight carry knife. The RC-3 features a substantial upgrade in overall fit and finish, as well as lined gray Micarta slab handles and a Super Tuff black textured powder coat on the steel.
