Product Description
Fox Bantay was designed by Slovenian combat expert Borut Kincl. With its 95mm long and 3,5mm thick blade, 1.5mm liners, tungsten window breaker and ergonomical handle it is ready to handle any situation a military, police or security officer will encounter. It has a modified clip-point, hollow-ground blade, made of N690Co steel, with a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating. Ground from the top of the blade is a False-edge that removes unnecessary weight from the folder, gives it a better penetrating performance and an aggressive, double edged appearance. Texturing above the hole was added to hold the thumb in contact with the blade's spine during cutting for confident control over the sharpened edge. L.A.W.K.S. mechanism offers additional safety, changing the linear lock folder into a virtual fixed blade tool. The G-10 handle ergonomically fits the hand and offers great control over the blade. Its pointed tip is for grip retention and doubles as a pressure point or striking tool. Spacers between the scales create a gap running the handle's full length exposing the inside workings for inspection and cleaning. A contoured black metal clip is set for a right or left hand tip-up carry. Contrary to most modern military folders, Bantay was designed with an EDC in mind.
